KEELBOAT COURSE SCHEDULE
Summer 2008

Non- Certification courses

Introductory Sailing & Adaptive Sailing
($30/ hour/ person, minimum 2 hours per session):
  

Classes are scheduled by appointment, with the hour to be arranged.


Certification courses

Basic Keelboat:
    Weekday classes: 4 days (Tuesdays and Thursdays) 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., $295
    Weekend classes: 2 days (Saturday and Sunday), 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., $320

Basic Coastal Cruising:
    Weekday classes: 4 days (Tuesdays and Thursdays) 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. , $295
    Weekend classes: 2 days (Saturday and Sunday), 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., $320

Keelboat/Cruising Package:
  Eight-day weekday package: $575
  Four-day weekend package: $625
     By arrangement          

The Challenge:
  $120 per person (written and practicum).
  Retesting $40/hour.


Note: Students learn at different rates and come with different skill levels. We cannot guarantee that you will be able to pass the certification requirements set by ASA, but a course will provide you with the information and tools necessary to qualify. ASA requires specific time commitments for the qualifications, so attendance is essential to a successful completion of the course. If you cannot make a class, a make-up class is possible in another course, on a space available basis only. There will be an additional fee imposed of $20/hour, if the instructor is not notified at the beginning of the course of an anticipated absence.
