Directions to CSUMB Boating Education Program
| Campus Office |
Approaching on Highway 1 between Castroville and Monterey,
take the CSUMB/Main Fort Ord exit off HWY 1. Turn left on 2nd Street and
right on 3rd Avenue. Drive to the bottom of the hill and turn right on
3rd Street. Look for the Outdoor and Boating Recreation Center
sign on Building 93 to your right.
To obtain a map using MapQuest,
enter destination as 100 Campus Center, Seaside, CA 93955.
| Monterey Courses |
We meet at the Monterey Peninsula Yacht Club boatyard
in Monterey. Directions to the boatyard:
Driving South on Highway #1:
| 1. | Take Del Monte Ave exit (to Monterey/Pacific Grove). | |
| 2. | Turn right at the fifth stop light, onto Monterey Wharf #2. | |
| 3. | The MPYC boat storage yard is on the right adjacent to the bike path. | |
| 4. | Classes will be held off Del Monte Beach directly in front of the storage yard. |
Driving North on Highway #1:
| 1. | Take Casa Verde Ave exit in Monterey. | |
| 2. | Turn left at bottom of ramp (onto Casa Verde Ave) and go under the freeway overpass. | |
| 3. | Turn left at the first stop light, onto Del Monte Ave (going towards Monterey/Pacific Grove). | |
| 4. | Turn right at fourth stop light, onto Monterey Wharf #2. The MPYC boat storage yard is on the right adjacent to the bike path. Classes will be held off Del Monte Beach directly in front of the storage yard. |

enter destination as #300 Del Monte Avenue, Monterey, CA 93940. The
star on the resulting map is at the intersection where you should turn
into the Monterey Wharf #2 parking lot.

Call the office to determine the place to meet for
Fun Sails. We could be in one of several locations in Monterey.
| Moss Landing Courses |
Meet IN THE PARKING LOT in front of Monterey Bay Kayaks, 2390 Hwy 1, Moss Landing (on the ocean side of Hwy 1 by Little Baja pottery shop). Park in public parking lot, and buy parking ticket at meter in lot. See Yahoo! map of this area.
Kayak classes may also meet at Kirby Park. Be sure and check for location if not clearly stated under specific program. See map of Elkhorn Slough, courtesy of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary.
